Poppy is a corporate lawyer advising on all aspects of corporate law, with a wide-ranging experience of private M&A, and a particular interest in public transactions including IPOs, secondary fundraising and takeovers. Her approach to transactions has been described as commercial and pragmatic.
Recent experience includes advising:
- MIP Holdings Ltd on the takeover by way of scheme of arrangement and delisting of French Connection Group plc;
- an Australian client on the acquisition of a company specialising in patient administration systems;
- advising the exiting shareholders of two manufacturing process solutions companies on their sale to a UK subsidiary of a French listed company.
Poppy joined Shoosmiths in May 2021 following three years at Gateley plc, where she also completed her training contract.
