I lead Shoosmiths’ environmental practice, advising clients on all aspects of environmental regulation, from contaminated land and waste to climate change, permitting and ESG compliance. My work includes supporting major corporate and real estate transactions, such as the US$1bn sale of an international chemicals business, and guiding clients through complex ESG reporting requirements in the UK and EU.

Before joining Shoosmiths in 2016, I built my expertise in regulatory and sustainability law across a range of sectors, working with developers, operators and investors on transactional, regulatory and contentious issues. My approach is always commercially focussed, ensuring clients receive clear, actionable advice that drives results.

I am a convenor of the UK Environmental Law Association’s Waste Group and a former co-chair of its Governance & Devolution Group. I regularly contribute to industry thought leadership and am committed to advancing best practice in environmental law.
