Tax partner specialising in disputes and real estate transactions
I am a Partner in our Tax team, leading our contentious tax practice. I represent clients in disputes with HMRC across direct and indirect tax matters, combining technical expertise with strategic insight.
I qualified as a solicitor in 2006 and obtained Higher Rights of Audience (All Higher Courts) in 2007, becoming then then youngest Solicitor Advocate to appear in the Court of Appeal in the successful case of Revenue & Customs Commissioners v Smallwood [2007] BTC 347.
Alongside my disputes work, I advise on corporate and real estate tax, helping clients structure deals and navigate complex legislation.
I am a Chartered Tax Adviser and member of the Stamp Taxes Practitioners Group. I also serve on the CIOT’s Management of Taxes Committee, helping shape policy and practice in the UK tax landscape.
