Thomas is a principal associate in our Banking & Finance team, specialising in real estate finance, both in the UK and internationally.

Thomas has experience working with lenders (both senior and mezzanine), borrowers and sponsors in relation to a broad range of real estate assets and across multiple sectors, including in the student accommodation, co-living, residential, hospitality and leisure sectors, with a particular focus on hotel finance.

Thomas graduated from the University of Leeds with a first class honours degree in English before completing a masters in English at UCL.  He completed the GDL with commendation and the LPC with commendation at BPP and qualified as a solicitor in September 2019.  He joined Shoosmiths in 2025.
