Our Telecoms team is able to draw on its deep sector knowledge and expertise across broadband and mobile, and associated technologies. Thought leadership and our ability to identify sector specific risks and opportunities enables us to provide strategic advice and help clients devise strategies to achieve their commercial objectives. Examples of our support work include:
- Advising one of the consortia bidding for the TfL’s Telecommunications Commercialisation Project, which includes 5G role out considerations;
- Advising a leading football club in the installation of a Distributed Antennae System, including the real estate and code issues from termination of the previous arrangements;
- Advising various major MNOs on Wi-Fi role out & IT projects;
- Helping clients navigate their multi-faceted regulatory environment to design and deliver compliant and innovative products;
- Advising wholesale communication partners on their bluebill and wholesale business mobile partner arrangements, including the drafting of template agreements flowing down MNO terms to resellers and end users;
- Advising a UK internet service provider on their contractual arrangements with wholesale partners in respect of access to its broadband network and the resale of retail, commercial, end-to-end cellular mobile services to end customers; and
- Advising a smart technology and digital provider on its business services terms and conditions in respect of delivery of fibre services to its customers, including consideration of specific fibre product offerings and integrations with third-party providers.
