Following on from my podcast last week, I was interested to note at the weekend this initiative being launched by Octopus Energy. Essentially, it is a means of incentivising its customers to save energy during certain time periods, no doubt set to mirror the time periods mooted for black outs.
I wonder if this will be adopted by other energy providers in the coming weeks and whether it will apply to just domestic customers or whether similar incentives will be offered to business customers.Disclaimer
