International Asexuality Day

Today marks International Asexuality Day, an important day in the LGBTQ+ calendar.

Asexuality is a lack of sexual attraction to others and it is believed that asexual people may represent about 1% of the population.

We encourage those who identify as asexual and allies of the asexual community to support and celebrate this day. Diversity and inclusion remains of utmost importance in and out of the workplace and not only on recognised dates throughout the year.

Everybody should feel able to bring their whole self to work, regardless of their sexual orientation, gender identity, gender, race, religion and/or any disability or other characteristic that they may have.
