Shoosmiths is one of a select group of law firms globally to pilot Microsoft’s new generative AI assistant, ‘Microsoft 365 Copilot’.
As part of an exclusive pilot programme, a test group of 300 Shoosmiths’ people – a mix of legal advisers and those in business services – will use the new AI assistant and provide feedback.
Microsoft’s AI assistant will be integrated directly into the firm’s Microsoft 365 environment to help streamline workflows and boost productivity and turnaround times for the benefit of Shoosmiths’ client base.

While Shoosmiths will explore how the technology can be used to enhance outcomes for its clients in the future, the firm will also ensure that any output adheres strictly to procedures relating to accuracy of advice and confidentiality. Shoosmiths’ people involved with the pilot will be subject to the firm’s Artificial Intelligence policy.
