National law firm Shoosmiths is celebrating after being named National/Regional Law Firm of the Year at last night's Legal Business Awards.
Chairman Peter Duff accepted the award on behalf of the firm, at a ceremony which took place at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London - and hosted by TV personality and journalist Mariella Frostrup.
This award recognises national or regional firms which have headquarters outside of London. The winner is one deemed to have made the most significant progress over the past year in advancing its strategy. The panel of judges consisted of senior in-house counsel from a range of industries.
Peter said: "This is really fantastic news for everyone at Shoosmiths. What we are especially proud of is the recognition that we are delivering on our strategy, of growth, profitability, increased market share and our commitment to a first-rate client service.
