Members of the Shoosmiths’ Sheffield Office hosted several teams of external guests for a fun-filled evening of trivia, food and drinks to raise money for Roundabout.
The Sheffield team are extremely pleased to have raised £870 for its charity partner Roundabout. Roundabout is an incredibly important and valuable local charity which aims to end youth homelessness in South Yorkshire, by helping young people to develop long term independent living skills and providing support with health, education, and employment.
The team hosted the event at Blend Kitchen in Sheffield, a fantastic local social enterprise business which provides support to some of Sheffield’s most vulnerable and disenfranchised people by delivering structured training and paid work experience to those marginalised by lack of access to rights, resources and opportunities. Blend Kitchen is also partnered with Roundabout and therefore a perfect fit for the event.
Any further donations to Roundabout are always very gratefully received and put to incredibly good use, such as providing emergency accommodation and support with employment, education, training and life skills.
Thomas Hall, head of the Sheffield office (and ‘Quiz Master’), said: ‘we are extremely happy to be partnered with Roundabout and supporting its valuable efforts in the local community’.
