Shoosmiths awarded Pennies from Heaven Gold Award 2024

Shoosmiths has won a Pennies from Heaven Gold Award as 23% of our employees are participating in Pennies from Heaven proving the value of small giving.

Pennies from Heaven - Gold award 2024The scheme works by employees signing up to donate their salary pennies to charities, in Shoosmiths’ case the local office charity partner where a colleague is based.

Shoosmiths is grateful to all colleagues who support Pennies from Heaven. Since we joined the scheme in June 2007, colleagues have donated £39,000 payslip pennies, assisting 72 charities.

During the last year our participating colleagues have donated their payslip pennies to their local office charity partners namely Cancer Research UK (supporting fundraising efforts by Business Beats Cancer Belfast), Birmingham and Solihull Women’s Aid, Pilton Youth and Children’s Project, Urban Roots, Martin House Children’s Hospice, The Single Homeless Project, Odd Arts, Unity MK, Cynthia Spencer Hospice, the Duane Spencer Trust, Roundabout, Sophie’s Legacy and Daisy’s Dream.
