Shoosmiths has won a Pennies from Heaven Gold Award as 21% of our employees are participating in the Pennies from Heaven proving the value of small giving.
The scheme works by staff signing up to donate their salary pennies to charities, in Shoosmiths’ case the local office charity partner where a colleague is based.
‘Shoosmiths is grateful to all colleagues who support Pennies from Heaven. Since we joined the scheme in June 2007, colleagues have donated £37,000, assisting 63 charities.
During the last year our participating colleagues have donated their salary pennies to their local office charity partners namely Cancer Research UK (supporting fundraising efforts by Business Beats Cancer Belfast), NSPCC, Pilton Youth and Children’s Project, Urban Roots, Leeds Mind, The Childhood Trust, Mustard Tree, The Henry Allen Trust, Earth’s Lonely Angels, Belong Nottingham, Roundabout, Acts of Kindness and No5.
