Daisy’s Dream, our Thames Valley office charity partner recently acquired new office space.
The office space was in need of a fresh coat of paint to ensure its welcoming and suitable for its young visitors. The volunteers – Sarah Piercy, Andy Moorcroft, Aileen Leahy, Hollie Delahunty, Daniel Halstead, Amy Ryder, Cristina Murray-Radulescu, Kayleigh Chapman. Becky Staunton and Saffron Stay, all showed they are considerably handy with a paintbrush and a scraper! This followed on from the work done before Christmas by Nick Holland, Mike Vallance, Nikita Kanda, Jennie Roberts, Kaya Hayward, Sanjeeta Sharma and Margaret Crabb.
As a result of the team’s collective efforts, the entrance hall was looking much brighter, with the specially allocated consulting room transformed into a peaceful ‘green room’ which will allow the specialist 121 sessions the charity runs to be held on the premises. Meanwhile, the upstairs offices were looking a good deal fresher too!
Daisy’s Dream is a charity which supports children and their families who have been affected by the life threatening illness or bereavement of someone close to them.
