Emily is a Medical Negligence Paralegal at the Northampton office and manages a diverse case load including claims involving surgical negligence, delayed and misdiagnosis of cancer, and claims involving the development of pressure sores.

Additionally, Emily assists Senior Associate, Simon Towler, with complex cases such as failures in diagnosing metabolic disorders, cerebral palsy, fatal claims, and spinal and orthopaedic injuries.

Emily is currently pursuing her qualification as a CILEX lawyer. She is an active member of the Shoosmiths Charity Committee and regularly participates in career events at local schools and Northampton University. She obtained her LLB Law degree from Royal Holloway, University of London in 2022 and has specialised in clinical negligence since May 2022.

Emily is committed to delivering clear and thorough legal advice to her clients, ensuring they have a comprehensive understanding of each step in their claim process and is dedicated to resolving clients' claims with empathy and professionalism.

Emily has assisted in a number of mediation meetings in order to reach settlement, which have resulted in a positive outcome for the client. Emily has experience sitting behind Counsel during inquests and settlement approval hearings.
