John has more than two decades of experience in leading and transforming legal teams in some of the world’s largest financial institutions. A pragmatic and commercially focused leader experienced in providing strategic advice to boards and executive committees, he has a proven track record in building and transforming high performing teams and offers a unique blend of operational and legal skills and experience.
John’s previous role was Director of Legal and COO, Legal & Regulatory at Santander UK. Prior to that, John was General Counsel at Bank of Ireland.
John has extensive experience in transforming legal teams, both as an in-house lawyer and COO, and as a consultant advising businesses on best market practice.
