Louisa joined the Financial Services sector group at Shoosmiths as a Professional Support Lawyer in April 2021.
Admitted to the Supreme Court of Queensland, Australia, Louisa moved to the UK and later Switzerland, where she gained experience working in the financial services sector.
Previous roles include:
- Credit Suisse AG, Zurich - Cross Border Legal Counsel. Drafting, reviewing and advising on the Cross Border Country Manuals, aimed at minimising the legal and regulatory risks associate with cross border business.
- Travelex, London - Legal Counsel. Assisting with the implementation of the Payment Services Directive.
- Barclays Wealth, London - Legal Counsel. Projects included; several legal entity reorganisation projects, MiFID implementation; Barclays Wealth documentation streamlining.
