Lyndsay is a Legal Director in the Dispute Resolution & Litigation team based in the firm's Manchester office.  She is experienced in dealing with heavyweight and complex contractual and commercial disputes, as well as corporate and shareholder disputes, cross-border litigation, regulatory and public law disputes and professional negligence claims.  Lyndsay regularly appears in the High Court and the Court of Appeal, with a number of her cases having been reported in the UK and Worldwide.

Lyndsay also has considerable experience in managing technology and telecoms disputes, and advising on telecoms regulatory disputes, having acted for a number of leading domestic and international telecoms operators and resellers, including Virgin Media O2.

Her recent cases include:

  • successfully representing a national telecoms company both in the High Court and the Court of Appeal in its multi-million claim for restitution;
  • successfully representing a national telecoms provider in discharging an injunction for alleged anti-competitive practices, and striking out the claim;
  • acting on behalf of a petitioner on a s994 unfair prejudice petition against a plc both in the High Court and Court of Appeal;
  • acting for a leading supply chain partner in a multi-million pound dispute brought by a major logistics provider.

Lyndsay's approach is focussed on the delivery of pragmatic and quality legal and commercial advice, which is aligned to the client's business needs and risks, and to help devise strategies to avoid litigation wherever possible and to assist clients in navigating their way through any dispute or arbitration. 

Lyndsay is identified as a “Next Generation Partner” for Commercial Litigation by Legal 500 where she is described as "excellent”, “very user-friendly, efficient, calm but effective” and “great to work with".
