Mark is a corporate lawyer based in the London office. He has 15 years experience advising numerous private equity sponsors, their portfolio companies and corporates at various stages of development on a range of matters including domestic and cross border private equity and M&A transactions, shareholders arrangements, co-investments, joint ventures, syndications and general corporate advisory work. His transactional experience spans a range of sectors including technology and energy & infrastructure.
Recent representative matters include advising:
- Cuadrilla Capital backed, Agilence, Inc, on its acquisition of IntelliQ Limited;
- the shareholders of Oakley Advisory Limited on the sale of the Company to Houlihan Lokey, Inc (NYSE: HLI);
- Inflexion Private Equity backed, CNX Therapeutics Limited, on the acquisition of 4 injectable cancer medications from Clinigen Limited;
- Cuadrilla Capital backed Chartbeat, Inc on the acquisition of Lineup Systems Limited;
- Central Park Partners backed Accelalpha, Inc on: (a) the acquisition of Frontera Consulting Limited; and (b) the English law aspects of the sale of the company to IBM, Inc (NYSE: IBM); and
- Charger Investment Partners on the English law aspects of its acquisition of SBG Holdings.
Prior to joining Shoosmiths in 2024, Mark was a partner in the the London office of an international firm having spent the previous decade as an associate in the private equity teams of leading US firms.
