Morgan is a corporate associate in our Edinburgh office advising clients on all aspects of corporate law, including private equity deals, mergers & acquisitions, venture capital transactions, debt and equity investments, MBOs, group reorganisations and joint ventures as well as on a continuous basis for corporate housekeeping and compliance matters.
 
Morgan's transactional experience includes advising:
  • the shareholders of Operatix Limited and Operatix Inc on their sale to memoryBlue LLC and memoryBlue Bidco Limited in a transaction that created a global leader in sales acceleration services for the B2B technology ecosystem;
  • the shareholders of Artificial Lift Performance Limited, Artificial Lift Performance LLC and Artificial Lift Performance Inc on their sale to US corporate Champion X;
  • Extreme E, an international electric motor racing series which will be launching the first ever hydrogen championship (to be known as Extreme H) in 2025, on corporate matters including investments from a range of international investors and strategic corporate advice;
  • Electric Sea Racing Limited on the launch of the world's first electric powerboat racing championship (the "E1 Series") and its investment from the Public Investment Fund of Saudi Arabia (PIF); and 
  • Housing Growth Partnership, the Lloyds-backed equity investor in a variety of joint ventures including the development of a 397-bed purpose-built student accommodation (‘PBSA’) development in Stratford, East London with a gross development value of £120m alongside Watkin Jones and the development of a 790-bed PBSA in Nottingham city centre including 19 affordable homes with a gross development value of £120m alongside Olympian Homes.
Morgan joined Shoosmiths in August 2022 following 4 years in the Corporate, Banking, & Finance team in Luxembourg based law firm Elvinger Hoss Prussen.
 
Morgan studied in Scotland before becoming a dual-qualified solicitor in New York and in England and Wales.
