Tom Slate is our Director of Projects & Innovation and sits on the firm’s Executive Board. He is responsible for delivering all of the major change programmes across the firm, including our operational excellence and client service improvement strategies.
Tom joined Shoosmiths in January 2024 having spent almost 14 years in a global magic circle firm.
He has spent his award-wining 20+ year career in business transformation, process improvement and operational excellence and has extensive experience across the UK, Europe, Americas and Asia-Pacific. He has delivered a wide range of change programmes focussed on realising operational efficiencies in the way business process run and implementing an extensive range of solutions that provide better client value, including digital and AI-based change, process improvement, alternative resourcing and legal project management.
Outside of work, Tom is a passionate youth rugby coach and is Chairman of the junior section of his local rugby club.
